Crystals for Anxiety

http://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/MerkabaWarrior

I am sometimes asked about good crystals for different symptoms and lately anxiety has come up a few times. Obviously this is crystal therapy and not a cure. Many people do find crystals help them allot but of course they wont do all the work for and you need to work on things yourself.

These are a list of seven crystals I would recommend for people who are experiencing anxiety or get anxious easily. Remember different stones work better for different people, so you may wish try a few and see which one works best for you. I have chosen easily available crystals here to make things easier for everyone.

Hematite

Aventurine

Tiger's Eye

Black Tourmaline

Rose Quartz

Rutilated Quartz

Pyrite

You can find jewellery using some of the stones mentioned above and many more at my Etsy shop Merkaba Warrior, I ship worldwide.

Enjoy,

Green Gemstone Bracelets and Malas

People seem to be embracing the colour green again, I had noticed more and more people going for the green stones I used in my designs in the last year or so. This Winter there is allot of green coming into the clothes shops again. Emerald Green was declared the colour of the year 2013 and will no doubt continue to gain popularity in 2014.

What is it about green that draws so many of us? Many find it calming to look at, it represents nature and growth, abundance and to many it also represents healing. Green is a living colour. There are so many affordable natural green stones out there. Stand out from the crowd and invest in some real gemstone jewellery and skip the mass produced imitation stones found on the high street.

So if your a green addict or looking to add more green to your wardrobe here are some examples of my latest and old favourite green bracelets and necklaces for you to look at. Direct links to where you can see more photos and read more about each design can be found by clicking on the photos!

How to Bless your Mala Beads

I found this useful Buddhist Mantra in Lillian Too's book Chant a Mantra, Read a Sutra. Of course the best way would be to get your Mala Beads blessed by a Lama but this method has been shared so people can do this themselves if they wish.

While holding your Mala in your hand chant the following mantra seven times with the clear intention to bless them:

"Om Ruchira Mani Pravartaya Hum"

(Then blow onto your Mala...)

Those interested in learning more about Tibetan Buddhist mantras may wish to check out Lillian's book Mantras and Mudras. The book I used is only available free on request while purchasing Feng Shui items at some websites and stores that stock items from World of Feng Shui.

I make 'Mala inspired' jewellery from both Buddhist and Hindu traditions, some of my designs use specialist Mala beads which have been blessed. You can find out more at my shop Merkaba Warrior on etsy, I ship worldwide.

New Spiritual Bracelet and Yoga Neklaces for Spring Summer 2013

Hi all, I havent done an update with new designs for a while. The last couple of months have been very busy for my shop which is great but this also means that not all items are in stock all the time. I think it is very important to keep an eye on my shop and log in from week to week incase you have missed something.

What you see today is not the complete range and I also add new designs as 'Trials' so some designs I will not continue and only make 2 or 3 of them and thats it. Other times I am unable to get certain beads or charms any more so I have to stop making a design or I do a redesign, which keeps things interesting.

Here are a few of my latest designs and there will be more over the Summer too. Hope you like them. Please let me know what you think.

Men's Star of David Bracelet

I have found some really nice rustic looking Silver charms with a six pointed star on them. This symbol has been used in many ancient cultures and ive paired it with cool blue Sodalite beads here. Ive decided to keep it very simple here.

Energetic Properties:

Sodalite helps you unite logic with intuition, opens the third eye and activates the pineal gland. Sodalite is believed to protect against harmful EMFs. This blue stone helps you learn to trust people and calms the mind. The six pointed star is an ancient symbol and has been used by different cultures, some say it represents the balance of natural elements like fire and water or spirit and matter.

Kuchi Tribe Coin Necklace

Ive been using tribal coin charms and pendants for a while now for my necklaces and mala inspired pieces. This time ive found these small coin pendants which were made by the Kuchi tribe as part of a larger ceremonial necklace. The coins appear to have been in use in Pakistan, the reverse shows a cresent moon and star. The bohemian mix of two metals led me to using the bronze finished chain here. I think it works great and perfect for those who are looking for a smaller pendant.

Energetic Properties:

These coins have been worn as amulets by the many different tribes for their protective powers. The coin pendant has been energetically cleansed in a Copper Pyramid.

Bloodstone and Carnelian Buddha Bracelet

My Men's Bloodstone Buddha Bracelet has done really well so ive now got a women's version which is slightly different. Many of you have asked for more womens Buddha Bracelets. Ive been very drawn to the forest green stone and here ive used an antique copper finished Buddha head bead. The green and red stone is matched with a high quality faceted red Carnelian bead.

Energetic Properties:

Bloodstone has been revered since ancient times for its healing and health giving properties. It is a powerful protector and also helps you face challenges with courage. Carnelian is a motivational stone, it increases your creativity and is said to cleanse itself and all other crystals. The meditative Buddha head reminds us to always keep our focus inward.

Lapis Lazuli Lotus Bracelet

I love Lapis Lazuli and its hard to get it with a good deep blue, plenty of Pyrite and little calcite inclusions. These 6mm beads are the best ive found and ive paired the midnight blue stones with a Gold Vermeil Lotus charm (Solid Fine Silver charm dipped in 24k Gold). The accent is Gold plated too.

Energetic Properties:

Lapis Lazuli symbolises the starry night sky and has been highly prised since ancient times for its powerful psychic protection properties. It strengthens your intuition and also eases stress. The Lotus flower symbolises rising above obstacles on your spiritual path.

Black Moonstone Buddha Bracelet

My women's Norwegian Black Moonstone (Larvikite) and Herkimer Diamond Om bracelet is one of my most popular designs. Ive now added a bracelet that I feel will work perfectly with it. This women's bracelet uses round Black Moonstone beads a Silver Plated Buddha head and a hand painted Nepalese Om mala bead.

Energetic Properties:

Black Moonstone enhances intuition and psychic awareness, gives psychic protection and helps shield you from unwanted attention. The meditative Buddha head reminds us to always keep our focus inward.

Lepidolite Mantra Bracelet

Ive recently introduced a purple Om Bracelet using gold elements. Lepidolite is a deep purple with a light shimmer caused by its crystal structure. Ive used a Gold Vermeil Om charm (24k Gold Dipped Silver) and a beautiful capped conch shell Mala bead. This special bead has been inscribed with the Lotus Mantra.

Energetic Properties:

Lepidolite is believed to help in reducing stress and depression. It balances moods and is also said to be 'The Stone of Transition'. The Conch Shell is sacred to Vishnu and one of the eight Buddhist treasures, it is associated with inner strength and knowledge. Om represents all of creation, removes distractions and helps maintain emotional calmness.

Labradorite Om Necklace

This is a new delux necklace created from round and faceted Labradorite beads. Many have a good blue green fire. Ive made this necklace long like a mala with a rustic Om pendant and plenty of ornate Bali Silver spacers which are spaced in a non symetrical way. You may also be able to wear it as a wrist mala.

Energetic Properties:

Labradorite helps raise your consciousness, gives energetic protection and stimulates the imagination. This is also a powerful crystal for spiritual transformation and the ascension process. Om represents all of creation, removes distractions and helps maintain emotional calmness.

You can find all these designs and much more at my shop Merkaba Warrior on etsy, I ship worldwide.

Enjoy,

Feng Shui Art Tips - Contemporary Artwork for Bedrooms, Living Room, Dining Room and Bedrooms

Art placed on your walls can really change the energy of your living space, for good or bad. Ideally and for Feng Shui purposes you need to be careful that the artwork you place is not depressing, disturbing, violent or too dark. There are certain symbols that are considered to bring positive energy and changes into your home and life but it does not always suit people to have traditional Chinese artwork on their walls.

I do not believe it is a good idea to place anything in your home that you do not like or that does not make you feel good looking at it. For those with contemporary or modern homes this can be a very tricky area, to select the right art but to also match the look, feel and colours of a modern home.

Giuliana Lazzerini is an artist  who I know personally and who has produced many Paintings, Limited Edition Prints and linocuts ( Lino block prints) over the years which many feel have a peaceful, relaxing and positive look to them. She has no background knowledge of how the symbols are used in Feng Shui. Here are a selection of some of her works which are available online at her Etsy shop or on her website (Links below) which will help bring in a calm atmosphere and energy to any space.

Her Etsy Shop is The Bluebird Gallery and her website is Giulianlazzerini.com.

White Blossom

White Blossom features a tree blossoming in springtime. Tree blossom such as Peach, Plum or Cherry has long been considered lucky and auspicious in many Asian countries and represents new growth. Peach blossom can also symbolise love and romance and has been used for protection. The tree is also like the tree of life a universal symbol. A white hare or rabbit (Chinese Zodiac sign) and a bird (peace or opportunities) are also represented. You could place this in the Love and Relationships corner of the home, or your Bedroom. This Linocut can also be placed in your Peach Blossom Luck or Star direction, especially if you were born in the year of the Tiger, Horse or Dog.

How to use the Peach Blossom Luck Formula.

Birds Flight Orange

Birds flying over Pine Tree (Inner Strength) covered mountains is considered a very auspicious and positive image to have in the home. The mountain represents support and protection and helps with your career. The flock of birds symbolises good news coming you way. You can place this Limited Edition Linocut behind you in your work place or Office. For those who work with Flying Star Feng Shui you could use this picture in any room with a lucky Mountain Star such as the white star 8 or the small Tai Chi of the Living Room or Dining Room.

Fishes

Fish are said to represent good money flow in Feng Shui so are associated with wealth. As these fishes are swimming they are considered a representation of 'yang water' which is more powerful in activating energy. The colour blue used here also represents the element of Water which is associated with wealth and business luck and the white markings are the Metal element which strengthens Water. You could place this linocut in your wealth corner of your home or your Workspace. In Flying Star Feng Shui it would be good to place in the location of an auspicious Water Star if a water feature is not an option.

White Horse

Here a white horse walks through a green field with flowers and a gift bearing bird on its back. The horse is a symbol of victory and success. It is also the personal symbol for those born in the year of the Horse but also could be used as a Peach Blossom luck animal (See formula above) for those who were born in the year of the Ox, Snake or Rooster. It could also represent the Wind Horse a Tibetan symbol of success. You could place this near the entrance of your home (facing inwards), the Dining Room, Living Room, your Office or in the wealth and prosperity area of the home or work place. The Horse can also be placed in the South of your home or Office for recognition at work, the green colour is a Wood element which strengthens the Fire element of the South sector.

Night Path

This is a Limited Edition of a watercolour painting of a villa that definitely has good Feng Shui. The house on a hill has a big mountain directly behind it. The Mountain represents support and protection, the image of a mountain can be placed behind you where you work or at the location of a auspicious Mountain Star.

Love Garden

Love Garden shows a perfectly trimmed tree with two love birds. A small cage in the background shows that they are free. Another Tree of Life with birds symbol but it can also be used for relationships here. You could place this Linocut in the Master Bedroom or the love and relationships sector of the home or the Bedroom.Trees can also be used as a symbol of the element of Wood where needed and when a plant is not appropriate (Bedrooms).

Forest Deers

Deers are not as well known for their significance in the East and for Feng Shui purposes. The Chinese word for deer is 'Lu' which also means income. The deer is said to represent both prosperity and longevity. You could place this artwork anywhere in the home or workplace, it would be good in the Dining or Living Room. The colour is red which is also a very yang colour which makes it even more powerful.

This is just a small selection of her artwork, there is more of these themes at her Etsy Shop The Bluebird Gallery and her website is Giulianlazzerini.com.

Enjoy,
Ivan

How to Wear Bracelets with a Blazer or Suit - Mens Style Guide

As more and more men are wearing more tailored clothing like blazers it can be nice to add your own individuality and character to the look quite easily with a carefully chosen bracelet. Here is a quick guide to help you add some personal style to what your wearing. Ive also made some suggestions for handmade bracelets you can find online which help create this look. Click the images to find out more.

Beads stacked with a watch

Look 1

Above you can see here the model is wearing a matt black beaded bracelet which matches the black and grey checked shirt and grey blazer. Here even the belt matches the bracelet and the contasting white trousers/chinos really make it work. The bracelet is stacked nicely before the classic faced watch with a nylon Nato style strap. The watch has silver metal which goes well with the matt black beads, try to consider this with watch and bracelet combinations. Black and Silver bracelets can also be used by those who wish to keep a more edgy or alternative look.

Create This Look:

Matt Black Stone and Silver Celtic Bracelet

Matt Black Stone and Garnet Wrap Bracelet

Black Wood  Silver Cross Bracelet

Blue and white details

Look 2

Another beads and watch combination, the bohemian look of the beads balances out the smart watch and blazer. Notice how the white semi precious stone beads pick up the details or the white face of the watch and the white pattern of the plaid shirt. The white works really well with the blue of the watch strap and the shirt here. Two additional but smaller bracelets are also worn here but notice that all are placed on one side and before the watch on the wrist.

Create This Look:

White Howlite Bead Bracelet

Picture Jasper Om Bracelet

Mantra Prayer Bead Bracelet

Beaded and Leather Bracelets

Look 3

A woven leather bracelet is paired with smaller bead bracelets. The earthy natural browns of the leather, wood or stone beads compliment the navy blue of the suit. Blue and brown is a classic combination which is easy to pull off. Adding handmade items such as these bracelets takes the edge off the formality of the suit and gives it more character.

Create This Look:

Braided Brown Leather Bracelet

Magnetic Woven Leather Bracelet

Tiger Eye Celtic Bracelet

Tweed and leather

Look 4

A tweed blazer is worn here with a brown wrapped leather bracelet. The brown leather highlights the woven leather belt and pocket square, it would also work with brown leather shoes. Blue, grey and brown work well together, the thick textured layers of the blazer, tie and cord waist coat contrast the smooth leather bracelet. You could also match the tweed with distressed leather or suede bracelet too.

Create This Look:

Brown Leather Wrap Bracelet

Leather Cord Clasp Bracelet

Leather Infinity Bracelet

Woven Bracelets

Look 5

Woven bracelets add a pop of colour to this blazer or suit. The yellow and green woven bracelet works well with the fabric of the blazer and highlights the checked pattern. The blue bracelet matches the blue of the blazer and helps the yellow bracelet blend in more so it does not look to out of place. This is good for those who who like the boldness of a spash of bright colour but dont want to much, it also can create also add a sporty look to the outfit. Try blue with yellow, red or orange but keep it to a minimum of one bracelet in a contasting colour so as not to overdo it.

Create The Look:

Blue Rope Bracelet

Yellow Woven Bracelet

Red Leather Bracelet

Buddha Bracelet

Look 6

Last but not least... A simple black suit with white shirt is complimented with a black leather strap watch. The Watch has a silver metal case with black watch face so it works well with the black and Silver bracelet. The Buddha Bracelet ads a bohemian twist to what would be a very formal and classic look.

Create The look:

Norwegian Black Moonstone Buddha Bracelet

Try this alternative - Onyx and Silver Skull Bracelet

The Gold Buddha head would work well with Gold Watches

Which look do you like the best? You can find some of these bracelets and many more at my shop Merkaba Warrior on etsy, I ship worldwide.

Enjoy,
